Country legends Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard were forced to postpone the beginning of their tour due Nelson’s health problems. Rolling Stone reports the tour, titled The Django and Jimmie Tour, was set to start in Florence, South Carolina on October 15th. A rep for Nelson said the date was going to have to be rescheduled. The show in Florence, South Carolina is slated to be rescheduled for a date in 2016.

Although the opening show was postponed for sometime next year, other dates were pushed for a few days. The concert in Roanoke, Virginia will take place on October 19. Nelson’s health issues remain under wraps, but the October 19 concert date suggests a speedy recovery is expected.
The two country icons are touring in support of their latest collaboration album Django and Jimmie. The title pays homage to two of their country music heroes, guitarist Django Reinhardt and Jimmie Rodgers, who is known as The Father of Country Music.
